Size Guide

Our pieces are cut in five sizes, XS to XL. The table shows body measurements; use it with the fit notes on each product page.

These are body measurements, not garment measurements. If you are between sizes, choose the larger size for close-fitting pieces and your usual size for relaxed ones. Lengths differ by style: write to us for the measured length of any piece before you order.
How to measure
- Bust: around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape level.
- Waist: around the narrowest part of your waist.
- Hip: around the fullest part of your hips, with your feet together.
Measure over light underwear and keep the tape snug but not tight.
Where the hem lands
Most SELVORN pieces are long by design. We describe length in three ways:
- Midi — around mid-calf.
- Ankle — just above the ankle bone. This is our default length.
- Floor — skims the ground in a flat shoe.
Where the hem falls on you depends on your height. If you would like the measured length of a piece in your size before ordering, write to support@selvorn.shop and we will send it.
Between sizes?
For close-fitting pieces (rib knits, column dresses) choose the larger size. For relaxed pieces (overshirts, shift dresses) take your usual size. If it does not fit, our 30-day returns apply.
